The ACCA qualification is a globally recognized symbol of accountancy expertise. As an industry body, ACCA has 140, 000 members and 404, 000 students in over 170 countries.
It follows education standards set by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and focuses strongly on professional values, ethics, and governance.
Skills like these are in high demand as the accountancy profession moves towards strengthened codes of conduct and tightened regulation. So would you like to become part of the world’s largest and fastest-growing accountancy body?
in order to become a fully qualified ACCA member, you will need to complete:
• 14 qualification exams
• A Professional Ethics module
• A minimum of three years practical experience
The ACCA qualification exam syllabus is divided into two levels: the Fundamentals level and the Professional level. Both need to be passed in order to become qualified.
The Fundamentals level is split between a Knowledge module and a Skills module. The Knowledge module (consisting of three papers) introduces you to the core areas of financial and management accounting. Specific technical areas of accountancy are then studied in the Skills module (made up of six papers).
The Professional level is divided into the Essentials module (three papers) and the Options module (two papers from a choice of four). Both modules are set at an intellectual level equivalent to a master’s degree. The papers build on the technical knowledge you will have already acquired and explore more advanced skills, techniques and values.
